Nursing Home Malpractice

Following a total knee replacement, Plaintiff presented to a skilled nursing facility for rehabilitation before returning home. Alianza Juridica was able to uncover evidence that Defendant knew Plaintiff was a fall risk and knew she required walking assistance. Defendant failed to assist Plaintiff into the shower, which resulted in Plaintiff falling and reopening her surgical site. Alianza Juridica also found evidence that Defendant’s facility was understaffed, and the employees were undertrained.
